Every Ocotber and first few weeks of November you can join us to experience an authentic Dalmatian olive harvest. In just a few minutes we’ll teach you how to pick in the same way olives have been harvested for thousands of years – by hand! It’s easy and remarkably relaxing.
You’ll be picking side by side other visitors or even some professionals! After several hours, with time to sit and enjoy nature, some bread and cheese and something to drink, we’ll take out bounty back to the mill where processing goes on all day and night!
As your personal memory, we’ll even give you a bottle of freshly-filled „liquid gold“ to take home!. Olive picking is an ideal day trip from Split to Šolta, but for those who want to stay more days on the island and enjoy in late summer and still warm Adriatic sea for few days or more, we suggest a stay in beautiful Martinis Marchi hotel in Maslinica or at one of the many guest houses on the island – we can arrange everything!
